UPDATE ON 27TH OCT PROTEST: INDUSTRIAL MINISTER PROMISES INITIATION OF TRIPARTITE MEETING
The Industries minister of Haryana, Randeep Surjewala was forced to meet the workers following a day of militant protest by the workers inspite of the curfew imposed by the administration to stop the workers and supporters from staging a demonstration in Kaithal. The minister promised to initiate another round of tripartite negotiations between the workers, the Maruti management and the government. It has been 6 months since the collapse of the last round of tripartite negotiations. However, we have refused to give up on our demands and our struggle. The Industries minister also promised to arrange a meeting with the Chief Minister of the State for opening talks on other demand being raised by the movement.
Long Live Workers Unity!
